Well since the release of UT3 ive been working on UT-UT3 remakes, after I am finished with the next one, I am going to come back to UT2004 and finish maps that were in progress and release them.
I do not know when this will be though. |

Sorry for the lack of anything, ive been kicking my own ass outside of this, but here is an update:
Maps:
Sidewinder- Almost Finished, just got to touch up AI pathing and get a MaterialSequence for the Level Preview done and then the map will be done.
Gephyrophobia- Got the Visuals almost finished and then begin the pathing, weapons, vehicles, etc.
Resources:
HaloUTTextures, HaloUTStaticMeshes, Halo4UTSounds, OutlawHaloSkybox are all pretty much done, just need to put a couple more static meshes in. |

Alright with Deathisland finished, ive moved onto finishing one of the older maps I started AWHILE ago. Ive been working on the terrain texture painting, but ran into a problem. In the editor, everything looks fine, alpha blending fine and shiz like that. I go ingame though and I notice with two of the texture, distinguishable hardlines everywhere where the alpha blending is supposed to happen. last time I had this problem was with Inconnu back on my mom's old Dell. Tomorrow Ill mess around with it to try and fix these blending issues.. |

Well my desktop is finally put together. Now, I just need a keyboard to get going XD Lame.

Though, it looks better than the pic. For some reason in the darkness my camera tried to overcompensate for the darkness of my room, and it ended up oversaturating the blue LEDs.

Ok so after a reformat and shiz, I got my wireless working again. I'll be reinstalling UT2004, 3DS Max 6, Halo and other stuff later today to continue working... |

Well as I was progressing with ports I got hit with adware somehow. So, I got a program to remove them.
It removed what it could and then had to finish on reboot because some were still being used....so it run on reboot and somehow it screws up my wireless. Even with a reinstall of the wireless driver and such, I cant get on the net unless I hardline...yay...so now, once again, got to back all my crap up and reformat. yay, that pushes work back...
Oh maybe late this week or next week, my new desktop will be put together. I'm gonna get XP put on it temporarily till next Friday and then I'll be getting Vista Premium.
Anyways, because I got to reformat this laptop, another temp pause is in effect for this....yay -.- |

Ok for the mappack and as a content pack for those who want to make their own maps using the halo sounds, I extracted nearly 500 pieces of audio from halo 1 and got it into UT2k4 for useage in map making.
Now DeathIsland info:

Oik so I was shafted by my superiors and was sent to the field for support of students in training. Luckily I had my laptop with me so I worked on DeathIsland. Visuals are done. Working on the Pathing. Blue team will go for the flag on foot and with manta and scorpion. Red team will only go by foot. I dont understand why. They try to use the SPMA but go around in a circle and then ram it into their goliath. dont know why. redid their paths but still does it. All that is left is getting some audio in and WHAM VCTF-DeathIsland and I move onto finishing VCTF-Inconnu and Siyine. |

Sorry for lack of updates to the project. The reason for which is this post's main information. Since I earn money now ($1,458 per month as a PV2) I've begun to start building a desktop for gameing. Right now Im using a Dell laptop with crappy grpahics and little RAM, so it makes it hard to do unreal editor work on maps. So until I finish building the desktop (will take till August because I only make $1,458 per month), I've put my work on hold except for static mesh ports, Ill continue work on those since they dont take alot of power to work on. Once the desktop is built, I'll pick up on maps again.
Some info on the upcoming thing of mine:

Ok sorry for no updates been busy with my real life.
3DSMax, got it back running so Ill be going along smoothly for now.
DeathIsland; On hold as I work on the below mentioned item.
The Belowmentioned item; Ok the above mentioned item mentioned this below mentioned item, confused yet? Hope not. The reason deathisland is on hold is because Ive decided to work on smaller levels first. The current small level nearing completetion is BattleCreek. All I have to do is put in the skybox, fix up the pathing in the CTF version, do the pathing for a BR version, a Deathmatch version. |

AGH 3DS MAx no longer will run....Ive reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. Whereever the license is stored on the computer I dunno, but, GRRR I hate it when this happens. I even went through the Registry Editor and deleted all 39875430943 key entries for 3DS Max, Autodesk, and Discreet.....that took a nice 2 hours..the amount of entries for Max that is in there is enough to make the super genius Windows programers over at Microsoft cry dark red tears of blood for two months straight
Sooo now Im using my mp3 player as data storage (30gig Creative Zen Vision:M) to backup my work and going to reformat my computer to REINSTALL max so the thing will work -.-
Before I format though, Im going to work on DeathIsland, finish up Inconnu, Siyine (which I had a very big spazm right now as I relized Siyine wasnt backed up ), and put some more progress into the custom map. Untill I reformat and reinstall Max, I cant work on anymore static meshes or levels. Static Meshes, well I got so many over as it is, I can hold off for a little and focus on MAPPAGE! I am now going to end this post to go punch my shoulder because my smallpox shot is really bothering me -.- |

Ok First: I need help from someone who can successfully path bots to use vehicle path nodes for VCTF. If you can help out, let me know (by PM/IMS).
Second: WHAM DEATHISLAND SHOTS!
Hmm which one is going to be in there? The thing firing? Or the thing being targeted? It will be the thing firing. Should make for some interesting kills on this map. I know someone was hoping the IonCannon. Nah, thats for me to mess around with when testing.
Some of these vehicles will be in the final version. Scorpion: yep Hellbender: Maaybe. SPMA: yep
You know you want it, but eh nope. I was thinking about it but, bots really wouldnt have a defense against it since they dont play with vehicles in VCTF like they do in ONS. |

Well it seems that 3ds Max 6 has had ANOTHER license error and when I re-enter my authorization code it says there is an error....
This is the third time it has happened. Genius me left the disk with the .exe at home before I left for Korea so I only hae 7 days to find a way to fix this AGAIN.. |

Well, recently I got two very nice static meshes from Halo over to UT2k4. They might make for good use in assault maps if anyone uses the resources for their own assault maps(maybe I should learn how to make assault maps XD). |

Well progress is going a bit better now that I got my laptop. Ive started on a custom level based off of those concept scans I posted about 2 weeks back. The level is large, Im not going to post screens of it though, I want it to be something anticipated.
I've also got some more static meshes brought into UT2004 from Halo.
Halo to UT2004 map conversions: Hang 'Em High failed to happen. Sometime after I finish my custom map, I am going to try Sidewinder or Timberland again, or try one of the smaller indoor maps. |

Well today graduated 15F Aircraft Elctrician AIT in the Army. While Im home I'll have net so I shall post some screenshots! Next week I leave for South Korea, I'll finally be able to work on things!!! |

Sorta alive here on weekends (week is comprised of school and listening to Drill Sargeants). Once Im in Korea (I report there on march 5th), if I can have my laptop, most of my free time will probably be devoted to finishing the map pack. I dont know when I'll have more pics up, I took some while on xmas vacation, including a static mesh variant of Halo's Pelican. |

Ok so this map pack is SLOWLY getting somewhere. Being in the Army now I really cant work on this at all because currently for AIT (job training), my company doesnt allow us to have laptops. Once Im gone from Ft. Eustis, VA, I'll pick up more on the mappack.
I've updated the map list page also with map names. |
